“Be sure you have a comfortable cup of tea for them when I am gone.”

A Journey Wall was created to illustrate for Mercy “Who we are and why we are here”. It begins with a mirror, immediately putting the viewer into the story, and states “You are a part of our story”. The intention was to portray the viewer’s role in the continuation of a service ministry that began with foundress Catherine McAuley’s commitment to service long ago. DAS met with committee members to help define directional goals and provided ideas and visual solutions to include beloved artifacts, quotes and prayers as well as a concept to depict community involvement. Descriptive graphic plaques and wall mounted vinyl lettering, create the wall’s direction and flow. Production was coordinated by DAS with the interior graphics team. |
